1st Annual Car Show exceeds expectations

The 1st Annual Cruise-In For Kids car show generated more than $15,000 for The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields to help ensure that "Every kid with every challenge gets every chance to play baseball."

Event chairs Steve Crain and Ken Rhodus said that "The attendance and the generosity of the participants went way beyond what we expected."

More than 250 vehicle owners came out under threatening skies that would normally have kept cars in the garage.  Car owner Rick Overholtz, displaying a pristine 1966 427-Corvette said that "If it weren't for Joe Nuxhall and Steve Crain, I wouldn't have brought my car out today."

We can't thank everyone enough for their support, their time and their efforts in making this event and huge success.  Nonetheless, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!
