Therapeutic Recreation for the Disabled serves as the collaborative partner for the adult softball league (ages 16+) programming at The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields. Therapeutic Recreation's mission is to provide and facilitate recreational opportunities and leisure-time pursuits for people of all ages, with mental and/or physical disabilities, primarily in Butler County, Ohio. Great Miami Valley YMCA
The Great Miami Valley YMCA serves as the collaborative partner for youth Miracle League (ages 5-17) programming at The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields. Great Miami Valley YMCA staff leads efforts within our community to not only facilitate instructional sports programming for youth of all abilities, but to also engage volunteers of all ages and abilities to serve to support the needs of players and families. ABC Pediatric Therapy Network serves as a collaborative partner for all Great Miami Valley YMCA Youth Miracle League programs. Their team of licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists believe that every child deserves the best life experience. ABC Pediatric Therapy provides onsite support at Great Miami Valley YMCA Youth Miracle League games, while also supporting the efforts of community volunteers who work to facilitate the success of each player and each family through the program. The Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND)
The Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) Program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and The University of Cincinnati (UC) focuses to train culturally competent, family-centered interdisciplinary leaders who will improve the health of infants, children, and adolescents with or at risk for developmental disabilities. As a collaborative partner with Great Miami Valley YMCA and The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields, volunteers from the LEND program will work with staff, volunteers, families, and children of all abilities to support their success. Butler County Special Olympics
Butler County Special Olympics is part of Area 1 Ohio Special Olympics. Special Olympics is an international non‐profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Butler County has over 300 athletes who compete in local, area and state games. Sports currently offered are swimming, basketball, bowling, soccer, golf, bocce ball and track & field. Through Special Olympics the world has witnessed the courage, character, dedication and dignity of these athletes. BCSO is pleased and grateful to have its bocce ball courts and league as a part of the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League complex.
