1st annual Car Show exceeds expectations

The 1st Annual Cruise-In for Kids car show , which took place on June 29th, generated more than $15,000 for The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields to help ensure that "Ever kid with every challenge gets every chance to play baseball."

Event Chairs Steve Crain and Ken Rhodus said that "The attendance and the generosity of all of the participants went way beyong what we expected."

More than 250 vehicle owners came out under threatening skies that would have kept many cars in the garage.  Car owner Rick Overholtz, displaying a pristine 1966 427-Corvette said that "If it weren't for Joe Nuxhall and Steve Crain, I wouldn't have brought my car out today."

We can't thank all of the volunteers enough for their generosity, their time and their efforts.  Nonetheless, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!
