Therapeutic Recreation for the Disabled (TRD) Adult League
Players of any age can shine as all-stars in our TRD Adult Leagues! With varying levels of competition, committed volunteer coaches, and accommodations for a variety of different special needs, you'll join a community of players who experience a true sense of belonging.

Our Miracle League Values
SAFE
At The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields we remove the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field. Since a main barrier for special needs children arises from the natural grass and dirt fields, Miracle League players play on a custom-designed, synthetic turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other assertive devices while helping to prevent injuries for all players.
FUN
The Miracle League is more than just playing a game, but it is also about making friends, building self-esteem, and being treated just like everyone else.
Our in-game experience is unlike any other! Players get to feel like they're in the "Big Leagues" with announcers, walk-up music, sound effects, live cameras and motion graphics all on huge LED video boards!
FRIENDSHIP
We use a "Buddy" system - pairing each player with a peer or friend to assist them throughout the game. Each "Buddy" focuses on providing their teammate with an encouraging, safe environment in which their efforts produce success in each facet of the game. The result is a bond that forever connects them as teammates.
COMMUNITY
This is not just a place that we go to on the weekends to relax and have a good time. This is a family, made up of hundreds of loving, caring, genuine people with one goal in mind...that "Every kid, with every challenge, gets every chance to play baseball"!
